  • H. David Natkin

    H. David Natkin was born and raised in Lexington, Virginia. He graduated from the University of Virginia in 1979 and the Washington and Lee University School of Law in 1983. He served as one of the editors of the Washington and Lee Law Review and authored a number of articles.

    David was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 1983 and began his practice with his father Bernard J. Natkin. Since then he has worked in many different areas of the law with a focus in trial work.

    Mr. Natkin has extensive experience in family and domestic relations law, personal injury matters, as well as traffic and criminal defense.

    David has had the honor of serving in the Eighth District Disciplinary Committee and the Client Protection Fund Board of the Virginia State Bar and is a former member of the Board of Governors of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association. He has been appointed as a Commissioner in Chancery for the Circuit Court of Rockbridge County and has served on the boards of numerous local and civic organizations.

    David is married to Mary Z. Natkin and they have two children.

  • Grace Crickenberger

    Grace Crickenberger was born in Southwest Virginia and has lived most of her life in Rockbridge County. She graduated magna cum laude from Radford University in 2005 and graduated Order of the Coif from The West Virginia University College of Law in 2009. She was admitted to the Virginia State Bar in 2009.

    Grace has worked in the Lexington legal community since 2003 and joined H. David Natkin, P.C. as an associate in 2009. She became partner at Natkin & Crickenberger, P.C. in 2015.

    Grace’s practice areas include family law, adoption, estate planning, estate administration, guardianship and conservatorship petitions, real estate disputes as well as other miscellaneous areas of civil litigation.

    She is a certified Guardian ad litem, the assistant Commissioner of Accounts for Rockbridge County and the attorney for the Town of Glasgow. She is a member of the Lexington Sunrise Rotary Club where she is a past president and is currently the secretary. In her free time Grace enjoys reading, cooking, hiking and spending time on the Maury River.

  • Kent Gibson

    Kent Gibson has practiced law in Lexington and Rockbridge County since June 2013, handling a wide variety of legal work that has prepared him to meet your needs. Kent is a magna cum laude graduate of the George Mason University School of Law. He grew up in Colorado and did his undergraduate work at Fresno Pacific University, where he studied business administration and English.

    During law school, Kent served as an editor of the Law Review and had the honor of teaching legal research and writing to first year law students. Kent also served in the domestic relations legal clinic, where he assisted low-income individuals with divorces and related legal services.

    After earning his law degree, Kent clerked for the Honorable Bruce D. White of the Fairfax County Circuit Court for two years and spent one year doing complex land use and zoning litigation in northern Virginia. The Gibsons moved to Rockbridge County to live in the most beautiful place in Virginia. Kent lives with his wife and three young children on a small farm, where they raise chickens, pigs, and American Milking Devons.
